AML and KYC Policy

Last updated 5 September 2026

1. Purpose

DoshDex applies Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) controls to every account. KYC approval is mandatory before you may deposit, create an investment, sign an investment contract, withdraw funds, or add or change payout information.

2. KYC statuses

An account's KYC profile moves through the following statuses:

  • Not started — no KYC information submitted yet.
  • In progress — the multi-step form has been started.
  • Submitted — all required information and documents were submitted.
  • Under review — compliance is reviewing the submission.
  • Additional information required — compliance needs more detail or clearer documents.
  • Approved — verification is complete; restricted actions are unlocked.
  • Rejected — verification failed; a reason is provided.
  • Expired — a previously approved verification has passed its validity period.
  • Suspended — verification has been paused pending a compliance concern.

3. Information and documents required

  • A government-issued identity document appropriate to your country (passport, national ID, or driving licence), front and back where applicable.
  • A live selfie or liveness check to confirm the document belongs to you.
  • Proof of residential address.
  • Legal name, date of birth, nationality and country of residence.
  • Source of funds and occupation.
  • A Politically Exposed Person (PEP) declaration.
  • Consent to sanctions and AML screening.

4. Screening

Accounts are screened against sanctions and PEP indicators, and monitored on an ongoing basis for suspicious activity, large or unusual transactions, and duplicate-account signals.

5. Account limit

A person may hold a maximum of three DoshDex accounts, enforced through verified identity, KYC details, telephone number, device and other permitted fraud-prevention signals. Accounts suspected of duplication beyond this limit are flagged for compliance review and may be suspended pending resolution.

6. Payout ownership

Withdrawals are paid only to a bank account, payment account, or cryptocurrency wallet verified as belonging to the same person as the DoshDex account, under the same legal name. A bank account holder-name mismatch against your approved KYC legal name blocks the withdrawal and routes it to compliance review.

7. Record keeping

KYC and transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable law and our internal compliance policy, and are accessible only to authorized compliance and administrative roles.
