Investing through DoshDex involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. This page summarizes the material risks of the cryptocurrency arbitrage strategy DoshDex operates.
No return is ever guaranteed. Every percentage, profit figure or maturity value shown anywhere on DoshDex — including on the calculator, an investment plan, and a signed contract — is a labeled estimate, not a promise. Actual results depend on realized arbitrage opportunities, market conditions, liquidity, execution costs and applicable fees, and can be lower than estimated, including a total loss of the amount invested.
Market risk
Cryptocurrency prices and the spreads between exchanges are volatile and can move against an open arbitrage position before both legs settle.
Liquidity risk
Thin order books on one or both venues can make it costly or impossible to execute a trade at the expected price, or at all.
Execution risk
A price spread can close in the time it takes an order to route and fill, turning an expected gain into a loss.
Exchange risk
An exchange can halt trading, suspend withdrawals, change fees, or become insolvent, affecting DoshDex's ability to complete or unwind a trade.
Regulatory risk
Cryptocurrency regulation varies by jurisdiction and can change with little notice, potentially restricting markets DoshDex relies on.
Cybersecurity risk
Exchange accounts, API keys, and wallets are targets for compromise; a security incident anywhere in the chain can result in loss of funds.
Counterparty risk
An exchange or trading counterparty may fail to honor a settlement, deliver an asset, or return funds on request.
No compounding. DoshDex does not permit automatic reinvestment or compound investments. Matured principal and any profit are credited to your available wallet balance; a new, separately confirmed contract is required for any further investment.
